Many communities in Ghana lack the basic infrastructures
to live a healthy and progressive life style,
education and medical facilities, decent housing,
safe play areas, sanitation, and even the supply
of clean drinking water, just do not exist.
If you want to make an impact in Ghana, but don't
want to work with children, this is the best program for you.
We have placements in several areas within Ghana where we are
trying to build schools, clinics and accommodation for those
that really need it.
This program offers those that enjoy manual labour a chance to
flex their muscles and get dirty. We try to supply you with local
materials and some additional local labour to help you with your work.
We have many ongoing construction projects, so there is no
set time when you should need to come out, as with many other organisations.
Basic information
We are currently working with several towns
to offer new buildings for them. Currently
in progress we have one school in the Western
region, and one in the Eastern region, and
also one clinic in the Eastern region.
The materials have been our biggest concern
with this project, but with the help of
foreign volunteers, we are slowly being able
to create new institutions for those that need them.
